Stir Fried Char Sui Venison with Broccolini
Bursting with Asian flavours this is a great dish for a week night dinner , add noodles or serve as san choy bow. Great made with mince or strips of venison. I like to make this as a stir fry with lots of vegetables

Ingredients
- 2 Cup Rice
- 1 Tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Tsp Sesame oil
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Tbsp Ginger
- 500g Venison Mince / Strips of venison Rump
- ½ cup Chinese rice wine
- 2 tbsp palm sugar
- 1/3 cup Char Siu Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Dark soy
- 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
- Sesame Seeds
- ½ Large lime
- ½ cup roasted salted peanuts
- Broccolini, mushroom, carrot, beans etc
Instructions
Mince
Heat oils and fry Garlic and ginger in a wok until fragrant, add in mince and stir fry for 2 – 3 min until no longer pink, add liquid ingredients and toss to combine , add veg and cook for a further 3 – 5 min,
Stir fry,
fry the ginger and garlic to a hot wok then add in the venison and fry until browned then remove, Fry the vegetables then add in the sauce and cook for 2 min, add the venison back in and cook for just long enough to heat through
Serve on a bed of rice ( or noodles ) add peanuts and squeeze plenty of lime over to serve
