Buttermilk Chicken

Tender and juice Chicken marinated in Buttermilk, 3 Different versions of this dish with slightly different ingredients . Best cooked over a fire for a smoky flavour or on a BBQ

Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken thighs Skin on
  • 250 ml Buttermilk
  • 1/2 Tbsp Course Sea Salt
  • ½  Tbsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 Cloves Crushed Garlic
  • Fresh Herbs
  • 1 Large shallot

Sweet chilli

  • 6 Tbsp Sweet Chilli

Asian Flavours

  • 3 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
Buttermilk Chicken

Instructions

Mix the marinade ingredients in a large bowl, add in chicken and marinate for at least 4 hours ,marinate over night is best.

Remove the chicken from the buttermilk and grill over high heat on a bbq or over hot coals .

Serve with salad or vegetables

Serve the Asian Chicken over rice with s drizzle of soy sauce and a squeeze of lime.
